Hi friends I thought to give some tips for healthy recipes for kids and decided to give oats dosa as option in Tamil Nadu style.I would be pleased to hear your comments on my blog.
Oats - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 2 tbsp(grated)
Tomato - 1/2 of 1(finely chopped)
Coriander leaves -few(if your child is comfortable eating it add or else not required)
Ghee or butter or oil - to pour over dosa,say about a teaspoon for each dosa.
Salt - As per your taste
Very simple ingredients and simple preparation as well.
Preparation part
Firstly powder oats you can use mixer to do this
After making it powder add hot water and all ingredients mentioned above stir well to make it batter
Now heat dosa tava pour the batter using table spoon and gently spread the batter to get the sahpe of dosa(round)take ghee,butter or oil as per your taste(or your kids taste) and pour it over and on side of dosa.
Wait till gets cooked on one side turn it to other side.Now oats dosa is ready
For side dish you can use coriander chutney , tomato chutney or sauce ,what ever you like.
